My name is Ayron Rutan. By day, I'm a Paid Ads Specialist for a Marketing Agency in Grand Rapids, MI. I can best be described as a creative spirit, with my passion manifesting itself in my writing. I've always been a rather opinionated person and while I'm aware that trait usually has a negative vibe attached to it, I think there's great power in not just knowing what you like but why you like it.

For the Record is a personal project I've created as a vehicle for me to share my thoughts with you. I'm passionate about a variety of topics such as music, pop culture, sports and politics. My goal here isn't to necessarily change anyone's mind, but to simply offer nuanced and informed takes that readers can engage with.
